Ruta Bilamnis Missionary to Taiwan (no photo provided for her protection)
Ruta is a retired teacher who has been doing missionary work for over 30 years. She has served in Ecuador, Kenya, Latvia, China, the Philippines and the last 3.5 years in Taiwan. Later this year or next year she will go to Kyrgyzstan which is a Muslim country. During her time in Taiwan, she has participated in the Global Indonesian Care Association so her outreach to Muslims from Indonesia has helped her to develop strategies for ministering to Muslims. She has also taught Bible studies to their staff to help equip them with Biblical strategies.
She teaches Bible studies at 3 churches where she focuses primarily on teaching personal growth “in grace and knowledge of our Lord” (2Peter3:18) as well as evangelism. She enjoys evangelism because the greatest joy is seeing others find joy in believing and receiving Him as Lord and Savior, but it is also a joy training others not only how to share the gospel but also to teach others how to do so. She is also trained as a Biblical counselor. She finds it a joy to see how the Wonderful Counselor uses His word to lead, encourage and empower His people!
He waters those who water others (Prov.11:25) so I trust He will flood you with countless blessings as you give of yourselves, your time and your resources to the expansion of His kingdom!!
